I have never been one to take instruction very well and for that reason, I became an expert at what not to do. I thought I could do anything on my own but when it came to remodeling…that mentality cost me a lot of extra money, time, and anxiety.
I will credit some of my DIY attitude to my upbringing. I was the oldest out of 6 and both of my parents were teachers. I grew up with the idea that we can do everything ourselves and on our own. I remember our projects taking months, sometimes years to finish — and at times we had to redo our projects more than once to get them right.
Fast forward to now and with years of experience under my belt, I have learned the dos and don’ts for remodeling a space. I understand that without proper planning and accounting for the details you can find yourself out of money and with an unfinished project.
My goal is to help you minimize the stress that may occur during a remodel, to create a space that matches who you are now, and to do it with expected results.
